The people who keep track of words at the Oxford English Dictionary are listing pocket dial and pocket dialing as terms that have recently entered the language to the point where the OED sees fit to include them.
To make sure I had the meaning right, I asked (who else?) AI and was told:
I get a lot of wrong-number calls and this is probably one reason why. I don't know about other people but I don't like the idea that I might be interrupting someone's day by having a phone that accidentally makes calls.
