I'll confess to being initially very anxious and stressed, if my computer has a problem. It takes me a while to calm down, and use Google to try and find a fix.

I'm relieved to know that someone else besides me has to calm down if anything goes wrong with the computer. It must be my main contact with the outside world because panic mode sets in immediately if there's a red light on the modem indicating no Internet or if it looks as if the computer itself has some problem I can't fix.

I'm finally over the worst of the flu shot's effects. The flu shot was on Tuesday, and at last my arm has stopped hurting. A necessary evil. Next there will be another COVID shot but not for a few weeks yet.
The sound of the chainsaw is heard in the land now. A couple of trees in neighbors' yards were being pruned so energetically here that I thought some trees were about to be cut down completely. As it turned out, one was but another was just pruned. These were/are trees that bloom beautifully in the spring and create a nice screen between those houses and this building.
I'm keen on trees and am glad that this city makes a point of encouraging and maintaining them.

Great that you can have the flu shot as a home visit! I once got lucky and had one of the COVID shots as a home visit--what a saving of time and energy!
My insurance company offers an annual "wellness visit," and I've had about 3 of these. Another one was just yesterday. In the past they've sent a woman in ordinary clothes who is probably a nurse of some kind but this time they sent an actual Doctor. They just do a brief cognition and memory routine, weigh you, take your height, pulse, blood pressure, heart rate, and ask a few questions and go over your meds. They offer a reward for this--this time it's a whopping $50. You don't actually get the $50 but you can use it to buy some nonprescription medical supplies they offer online.
The actual Doctor showed up unexpectedly 2 hours before the scheduled time. Someone let him into the building and so he was right outside my door. I was in the middle of lunch when he called from out in the hall. I hustled my yogurt into the fridge and tried to get to the door quickly. What I saw out there (through my peephole) was astonishing and almost scary--a man in a white coat with a stethoscope around his neck.
This kind of sight is almost never seen around here.
My blood pressure went so high (137) that he commented on it. I muttered something about white coat hypertension and the subject was dropped. I'm sure that's what it was. I'm not used to seeing such a person right in the hall of this building.
EMTs and firemen, yes. Home caregivers, yes. But not a stethoscope-bedecked guy in a white coat.SPMS diagnosed 1980. Avonex 2001-2004. Copaxone 2006-2009. Glatopa (glatiramer acetate = Copaxone) 12/20 - 3/19/24.
