I haven't heard or talked to our other son, for a couple months, in Florida,, he is no longer in the Air Force, and his marriage never worked out,,{divorced},, he is going to college to be a CSI,,

Sam is fine,, she keeps amazing us, at how smart she is,,

Peg, I just saw this. I hope Nora will be back swinging again soon--maybe she'll do her bailouts with her eyes open next time.

Sorry about your son too. My son's marriage might unravel too. Hard to watch this happening. A mom feels helpless. I hope your son will bounce back and get a lot out of the college experience.

      Hi Peg, Hi Joan.

Did Nora forget to shout "GERANAMO" as she bailed? I hope she heals quickly, poor thing. My DD is in the middle of divorce proceedings. Yep we just have to sit back and pick up the pieces as they fall.

I am wondering if I may have to switch back to A/C today, It's supposed to be in the 70s again. No wonder my MS body doesn't know which end is up. My body's temperature gage is going crazy.

Hello all, you are in my daily prayers that all your wishes (at least the important ones), come true.

:) Hi everyone. I am so thankful y'all are here. I need to vent

I got a call this AM from my sister in Tennessee that she thinks Mother (in rehab in Jacksonville, FL) may have pneumonia. The rehab is going to take Mother for X-rays. My sister does not want Mother to stay in rehab, she thinks Mother is getting worse there. However Bill the elderly neighbor friend who helps Mother at home is ill and has the flu. He is also going to his brothers next week. He says he isn't able to keep- helping Mother as her only at home support.

I got an email from David and his TV went black in the RV. Also his finger pain woke him up 3 times during the night. He said he is going to stay in one place for a few nights and rest. He is going to be in a National park with no cell signal. Maybe he will be able to email.

I went out to my car to go to an appointment about 11 AM and my van back door on the driver's side was open and my big Rally scooter was gone. The glove compartment was open too. I called the sheriff and made a report. It is unlikely I will ever see it again he said. I can't really go anywhere until I can replace it. The porch light stays on all night and still they came all the way up in the carport to take it. I did reach David on the road to tell him about it.

I have an old scooter with dead batteries on the back porch covered up. I will get my son to pull it through the house manually and put the van's ramp out and get him to shove it in there. He may need the neighbor to help. Then we have to go to the battery store and get batteries.

My cough is still bad and I finished the 3rd different antibiotic. I am worried that whoever took the scooter sees the RV gone and thinks no one is here. I don't want them to come back and try to get in the house. I really did not need another worry besides David and Mother but apparently God thinks I can handle all this.

Thank you for being here and for this board. Thank you all for your prayers. You are all in my prayers. Jeanie :)

PS My sister just called and Mother is being admitted to the hospital for pneumonia.

Oh, Jeanie, so much! I am sorry about your mother and the pneumonia. Also you w David away and now the scooter.

Around here, if something like that happens and it gets attention from a TV station, someone usually returns the equipment stolen or generous viewers replace it. You might not want the attention.

I hope both your infection and David's pain get better.

Jeanne, you need a break from all this trouble. Sending up a prayer on your behalf. What a despicable thing to do....steal someone's scooter. That is waaay worse than anything else a thief could steal from an able bodied person.

That about sums it up. Do you have homeowners/renters insurance? or theft on your car insurance?

I have finally got my blood pressure out of the stroke zone. Down to 140/90. Lots of stress. Dr knows about our situation (small town) and wanted to know if I needed more A/D or something stronger. I am having a hard time dealing with this.................

Anyway sorry to see other people dealing with stuff as well. Things will improve.
My daughter lives between 2 big dairies not close enough to have the odor but the flies are awful!!!! The inside of our motorhome looks like Amityville Horror. I am going to spray today and see if that works.

Gary- What about using the flies as indoor target practice?
I knew of a crazy musician in TX who did that with roaches
from the comfort of his lazyboy...

On a good note, i gave myself a first injection of Copaxone
in the worst spot and it went well.

The injection pain was different from rebif- on a delay. But other than feeling a little
light-headed i think this will be easier than the interferons.
                      Hoorah!

                      Take care Gary et al.

renee, congratulations on getting past the first Copaxone shot! Which is the "worst spot"? For me it was the arms.

:) Hi everyone. I am feeling overwhelmed. My cough is as bad as ever and no meds other than OTC ones.

I was waked up this morning by the nurse from the hospital my 92 year old Mother is in for pneumonia. She said they are discharging Mother today back to the rehab. Then my sister calls and says the rehab has no bed for her so she is going home.

Mother needs someone there 24 hours a day now. My sister is in Tennessee and Mother is in Jacksonville, FL. The neighbor friend, Bill who helps Mother will be out of town Monday for a week. My sister had called him and his BP went up so high worried about Mother that he has a nosebleed and is headed to the ER.

My sister called again and said she has Mother's friend coming to be with her during the day and a friend of the friend who will stay at night with her and that she will fly in on Tuesday.

I talked to David and he has new blisters from overusing his blistered hands hooking up and unhooking the RV. He will be home next Wednesday and has an appointment for a CT scan on the 25th.

The toilet is still leaking on the floor and the neighbor will call me when he can get to it. I have a towel under the water shut off where it is dripping.

I at least felt that Mother was in good hands in rehab and getting PT. I worry that being home will be hard. Mother cannot fix meals or any of those things. Also she depends on Bill to buy her diapers and groceries and get her Rx's for pain, etc. and he won't be there.

My sister insists she can handle it all. I sure hope so.

I did get batteries in the old scooter in the van to replace the stolen scooter. So I am mobile again.

Thank you for the prayers. You are all in my prayers. Jeanie :)

:) Hi everyone. I have some GOOD news for a change.

I got a letter from the DMV today and I do not have to take the driving test this year. They are extending my driving privileges 2 years and will send me the forms when the time comes. Yah!!

I sent them the forms nine months ago and had heard nothing and expected to get notice to take the test any day. Now I can relax for 2 years and not think about it every day. That is an answer to prayer. Jeanie :)
