2004 threads on recalled batches of tainted Avonex?

Hello gang. Long time former BTer here. I am trying to track down as much info as I can on the Avonex problems in 2004 where they were recalled due to excess aggregates. In the midst of injecting 8 weeks of recalled Avonex I developed permanent damage to my heart and lung. Remember that? September1968 and a few others on the boards were having symptoms too.

So, am looking for threads from 2004, when it occurred. Am also trying to find September1968 to learn how she has been since then.

I've tried to find the 2004 archives but the available archives go back only to 2006. I've posted a question about this in Forum Feedback.

I don't see september1968 on the list of current members. Maybe someone else knows if september 1968 is registered under a new user name?

Thanks for trying, Random! Unfortunately the link to the 2004 material stops at March 2004 though it's supposed to run through mid-May. The discussions that BBS1951 is referring to probably took place during or after May 2004.

I kept looking around the archives and the time period 2004-2005 was the sketchiest (if that really is a word).

I went back as far as 2001 and saw a lot of old names, including mine !

I hope BBS1951 can find who and what they need...

I was on Avonex at that time and I remember talking to a pharmacist about it and he knew nothing about it (and implied that I was a crackpot for believing something I read on the web). So I went to the FDA website and it did have information about it. Not sure if this is helpful, but you might want to try FDA archives. If you can't find it online, you could make a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to FDA to see what they have in paper.
