    Looking for Howie

Several people here have been asking for Howie, who has been a member of this board for many years--at least 12 that I know of.

I've posted this in the Chat thread but some people don't read it.

I hope that anyone who knows of a way of contacting Howie will come forward with any ideas. I've tried calling a home phone number he gave me but no answer. No answer to e-mail or PM either.

Some of us here are used to hearing from Howie pretty much every day in another location. The last word from him was on April 15. This isn't like him.

If he'd just got tired and wanted to take a break, I'm pretty sure he'd have notified somebody.

    This is the person:

Howie is OK but he was in the hospital after "an incident with his car," according to his brother-in-law. He's currently in a rehab place, maybe for about a month, until he gets stabilized enough to go home.

I hope to have a few more details later.

Good to know. Thank you, Agate.

Howie please get well and come home to us. We are low on Cabana Boys in pink swim wings wearing Spongebob trunks!

I spoke with his sister. He fell just after getting out of his car in a parking lot where he was about to go shopping. He's eating well and having lots of physical therapy. I spoke with him too, and he's eager to go home but they have to keep him a little longer.

He was in the hospital for only a day or so. It was the first time he'd ever been in a hospital!

                Good news for us.
How does one stay out of the hospital an entire life?

I hope the food is good, the roommate is considerate or non-existent and
Mr. Howie has excellent and entertaining nurses, aides, PTs, OTs and MDs.

Hope Howie is on the mend. Do you think they found his SpongeBob tat yet?

His sister said that he's been entertaining the staff there.

My guess is that they found the SpongeBob tat.

I sent him a print-out of this thread.
