My brain is swelling up....like it should. I dun got smart on the InTundNet. If it weren't true, they wouldn't print it? Like I was getting ready to say..................

Wear your helmet Howie. You'll be okay.

Survived and enjoyed most of a five day trip to Minnesota for New Years family wedding.
Temp was 0 to -16 the whole time.
Thank God for the downtown Minneapolis skyway. There would have been no food
      for the huskies-"Iditarod 2013"

Got a plane de-icing before the way home and arrived for the beginning of a blizzard
and a foot of snow. Whoopee!
It was 16 below last night. Well, the cat is glad to see me.

Now getting psyched for a shower and a snow removal extravaganza.
      On to the grocery store.

Remember, the chinese new year is the end of this month-
the year of the (Wood) Horse. It happens twice in a normal lifetime.
I hope it is world shaking in a good way.

I tried to be in the Iditarod one time. They should make it known to people, you can't enter a cat team.

Getting a cat team together would be about as difficult as herding cats. In fact, it probably would involve herding cats.

Cover your mouth, think of the germs you could be spreading online.

Can you imagine a team of about 50 cats, being followed by a dozen dog teams. Records would fall!

Here in the deep south we are in a deep freeze with snow flurries falling. I have an appointment tomorrow with the urologist to see if the UTI has cleared after 10 days of antibiotics. He has more tests to do if I don't have an infection. I have been keeping David's dog while he is recovering from the flu which is making the rounds. Teddy is his name and he is no trouble. He is such a good dog and he and Honey have become close buddies altho Honey is very domineering and "herds" him around the house. She was fixed after her first litter of 10 pups and he is still a normal male dog.

She, however is the "Alpha" dog.

                      Blessings, love, and peace,
                      Gabriella

Well I got a late afternoon call from the urologist nurse to tell me the urine culture came back positive. I went out and picked up a 7 day supply of Macrobid and she canceled the appointment for tomorrow with the urologist. I'll go back in 10 days to see if anything has changed for the better. It is beginning to look like I have a very resistant infection with a "super bug".

It is so cold I could barely get the car door opened as it was frozen shut. I picked up a weeks supply of Marie Callendar dinners.

                        Blessings,

Well, here in sunny and bright North Carolina it is 29 degrees at 1:45P.M. Was supposed to be 9degrees last night. I haven't checked, but guess that they got it right.

Sorry you are sick Ann and hope that you will soon be well.

Gabriella, that applies to you also. UTIs are bad, but I am glad you have gotten on some Macrobid. I hope you are wrong about the super bug.

Howie, you and Gary put on some clothes and stop trying to impress all the ladies here!! I don't have a brass monkey either.

Renee, glad you survived Minnesota, but it appears to be just about as cold where you are now.

Everyone stay warm. I expect a lot of us are inside right now.

Inside? The cats and I are in the top of a tree. We want to catch those warm rays before they hit the ground. (It's the cats idea. I went along so I wouldn't hurt any feelings.)
