I applied for financial assistance for my copaxone. Anyone know about how long it takes to hear back from them?

Hi newone,
I looked at the Shared Solutions Website but you have to call their number to find out specifically about payment assistance programs. One they're featuring is apparently for assistance with copayments but they also mention assistance for the full amount of the Copaxone if you qualify.
If you applied over a week ago and have had no word, why not give them a call? Maybe your application landed on the desk of somebody who's on vacation. It happens.SPMS diagnosed 1980. Avonex 2001-2004. Copaxone 2006-2009. Glatopa (glatiramer acetate = Copaxone) 12/20 - 3/19/24.

Got word back from Assist Rx. I was denied - when I applied I told them I had health insurance with prescription coverage - that said it was okay to apply since my copay was so high. Well, the letter I got said I was rejected because I have prescription coverage. I pay $700 a month - out-of pocket- for my health insurance - purchased through the Health Reform Act. My co-pay for drugs is 50% - copaxone costs me $1759 per month - can't afford it even with the recent copay assistance program from Shared Solutions which will pay up to $500 a month of your copay (lowering my cost to $1259). What's even scarier is that I know my insurance will cost more come January as will Copaxone.... Don't know where else to go.

If you haven't noticed the Useful Websites sticky thread towards the top of the page, it lists these possible sources of aid in paying for prescription drugs:
