I was reading something in a magazine and it just caught my eye and made me think of you. It is something about a lady who is in a wheelchair and she receives a regenerative therapy called Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) from Cytomedix, Inc. (cytomedix.com) to ensure her muscles and tissues are as healthy as possible. "It is a way to help the body heal itself from injuries in the skin, cartilage, tendons, ligaments and bones.
She says that wound care is one important part of physical therapy and she chairs a division of the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care (aawconline.org), which supports people with open wounds.
I know that you have been doing better, and that you have medical care, but just thought that you might want to see what these people who help support people with open wounds are all about. If they give on line advice, etc. I did not try to type the websites in to see what comes up, but found it interesting.
Lots of best wishes!
