From another MS site...we were talking about testing

The following is a quote from another MS site I visit. We were discussing cognitive testing and this guy's response just seemed to fit a lot of our experiences:

"I guess I have only so much patience with those who have information and no real idea of how to use it. I am freaking doctored to death and don’t want to go there.

Your advice is probably sound." RMCohen

I like that. I'm really tired of people who want to give me advice on MS. Now they've basically given up. They got tired of me shooting down their wonderful "advice" I suppose.

Whatever happens around you, don't take it personally. Nothing other people do is because of you. It is because of themselves. -- Miguel Ruiz

I have gotten to the point that I just look interested and agree that it is something worth looking into. No matter that 98% of it is usually worthless. I remember when my youngest was Dx with type one diabetes and all the "helpful" information we were given. From we gave him too much sugar (he was 2 1/2 years old) to several miracle pills, diet and potions. And the same with MS a wonder pill, diet or treatment that cured so and so. Didn't you look at your dx paperwork? Relapsing-remitting MS means that it can come and go. Sheesh
