I picked up a computer virus and it crashed my machine. MALICIOUS 9-11 virus. Ba$tards. I am on a borrowered machine. Won't be on again until I get a new machine. Maybe others picked it up.
till then..later

May happiness be at your door. May it knock early, stay late, and leave the gift of good health behind.
I don't know if this computer has a virus or not. I've lost all my icons and the print is huge. Tomorrow, I'll call my computer fixer (son in S.C.) and see if he can help. I am not computer literate since I am self taught and just do the simple stuff.
If I don't make it back here for a few days.....you'll know IT crashed!

Well, I went back and read some of the posts I missed. Happy to hear that Peg is doing well with the procedure. If you want to find a You Tube video made by Holly Huber who had the procedure in Panama she had wonderful results and gives her report.
I have managed to train my Lab "Honey" to sit still in front of my recliner and I can grab her collar and she will scoot back and help me out of the chair. I try to be gentle as I don't want to hurt her neck. She will signal me when she needs to go out by going to the closed door in the den and pointing to it.
I let her out the back door in the kitchen to do her business. She is very teachable and such a great companion. I do have a reason for feeling so bad for a month but I will make it a post to itself.

Lady, I am very sorry your computer picked up a virus. That is not only VERY irritating, but can also be very costly.
Gabriella, it is so nice to have a pet you can depend on to take care of you. Sounds like you have yourself a true friend. I think Labs are kind of known for that.
Well, more of my story about Max the Cat. For those of you who have not read it Max was a cat where I worked until May, when we closed. He slept on my desk a lot and I gave him special treats that he liked. It is a very large building and we were in only one side. The people I worked for own the building and they leased the other side. At first, when we left, the side we were in was leased and those people said they would keep Max, then they said they couldn't because some of their employees were allergic to cats. At that point they put him in the other side because it was empty, and I have been told he has been very, very lonely. Someone just goes by to feed him and thats all. I can't even do that because I do not have a key anymore.
Well, today that side was leased also. The owners are hoping that these people will let Max stay, however if they do not one of the owners and his wife are going to have him declawed (even though he is 6 1/2 years old) and they are going to have the groomers give him his first ever bath and take him home with them. I can't tell you how relieved I am. I had really worried about that cat. So hopefully now something will work out for him. I am told he has been so unhappy since we left there back in May. All his life, from a baby on there were people picking at him, and playing with him and giving him snacks and he had his bed on my desk where he could sleep and be near me, so it has been rough on him.
Maybe his troubles will soon be over. Let's all hope so. It's hard to see an animal you've cared about have something that traumatic happen to them. There is no way to even explain it to him.
Also, if they do have to get him declawed and take him to their house I might can go see him some. I couldn't go into the new tenants business if they keep him so we will see what happens now.
:) Hi everyone, Hi Peg. Peg I saw you were able to post about Fall. We are all anxious to hear if the stem cell treatment you had has changed any symptoms for you. Please let us know. You are in my prayers. Jeanie :)
Well, tried Howie's phone once over the weekend and it was busy and again today and no answer.
Helping a friend move this afternoon. David is doing the closing on the house with them right now. Should be at the house in about an hour to empty the pod. I have made dinner for them (baked mac and cheese, breen bean casserole, broccoli slaw and the chocolate chip cookies are on the counter cooling) and have stuff for lunch and munchies throughout the day. Biggest thing is going to be getting their soft sided water bed set up and filled first thing so they have a place to sleep tonight. They both had to take personal days from work today because of when the closing happened. Their old house closed last week and they've been living with family waiting for this.
Got one of my gardens cut back for fall yesterday. Just can't do it all at once. Energy is kind of low but the cooler temps are helping a lot. Off to the condo in a couple of days to spend time with youngest sister and her husband for a few days then I have a Financial Board meeting Saturday afternoon where we set the budget and fees and any special assessments for 2012 then home Sunday. Busy next week with labs and port maintenance and a friend visiting near here from Dubai (I used to sing with her 35-40 years ago and I lived in a house with her husband before either of us were married). It'll be great reconnecting but it's a good hour drive each way for a late day dinner.
Waiting for Peg to log in personally with details. I've already emailed the clinic to see if I can come and meet them and tour the facility and hear about protocols personally (I've already read everything on their website) when we are in FL the first week of December but I have not heard back from them. I am so hoping this is helpful for her.
Ann I found the remote between the couch cushions!
Our weather is doing its normal fall hijinks yesterday the high temp was 90 and this morning it is in the low 40's I am not complaining but it is the last day of summer.
I am doing okay no new complaints my wife and I have been passing a cold back and forth this week it is her turn. We had a call over the weekend our doctor called seems that he was having trouble with the PTO (power take off) on his tractor. Only in Idaho!! Yes he did get it operating maybe I should send him a bill. I don't think he has tractor break down insurance.
