I saw another eli who jumped on a car. They said it was mating season which could make the eli's aggressive. This one was a granny, but maybe she was protecting the younger ones during mating season?
Funny how he tried talking to the eli like it was a puppy or something: "hey, HEY, HEY, HEY!!!

I know one thing. I'm definitely going to go out of my way to be nice to the elephants I meet up with from now on.SPMS diagnosed 1980. Avonex 2001-2004. Copaxone 2006-2009. Glatopa (glatiramer acetate = Copaxone) 12/20 - 3/19/24.Comment

Elephants are smart. He calmed her down and told her he wouldn't come any closer,
then what did he do, but follow her, after she backed off, and got closer... He lied to
Granny and she rammed his vehicle for it. Not nice to fool Mama Elie...lolLove, Sally

I don't blame her for ramming his vehicle, it must be annoying to be followed around so much. Couldn't help but notice that they went off camera for a bit. Probably long enough to change their pants and try to collect themselves. I'm surprised that type of thing doesn't happen more often!Comment

It is beyond comprehension to me any thrill that could be derived from hunting and killing these magnificent creatures. Please Note that my posts may have been arbitrarily altered by a Moderator and may not reflect my original content.

SuzE, this Safari is photo op only...NO Killing.
The animals do kill each other to eat, however.
I try to miss mealtime.Love, Sally

I understand that without thumbs, some animals would have a hard time peeling their vegetables.
Glad this is a safe habitat for them, from humans at least.

Speaking of animals, ever heard of a Sugar Glider. It can fly, or rather glide. They are available in most states as pets. Look it up online!
