    Space

    I want to be the first to say, one day, we will create beings that will be able to withstand deep space travel. That is what we see as "Aliens". On some advanced civilization, they have done just that.

    The most we will ever do with humans, is Mars. That would be a 2 year trip. I can't imagine how hard that will be on the crew.

    But genetic science is really moving forward. At some point, we will realize that they will be ideal candidates for deep Space travel!

    Just thinking out loud about what's in Howie's mind!

    We first need to be able to touch the speed of light, That opens a whole new reality!

    Have you ever read anything by John Varley? This post made me think of him but I'm not sure why.

          Howie, they can study us for the two year sleep part of the trip.

                I would have to really like my cabin-mates if I was going to take a 2 year trip on a one-way ticket to another planet. There would also need to be a couple of cabana boys along for entertainment too.
