Today I had the cleaning lady in, so it was all about cleaning. However I had my husband order in a pizza and ceasar salad for supper.

          HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

--And special thoughts for anyone for whom Mother's Day doesn't happen. I have several neighbors whose children died. There are those whose experiences with their mothers don't endear her to them. Then there are the many many people who haven't had children for whatever reason. And those who never knew a mother.

For all of them, Mother's Day must be difficult and often sad.

A little late but even before my mom died 4+ years ago I started calling my friends'
mothers mom. My mother was my mom but I noticed how she adopted into her heart
all my cousins, children of her friends and our friends who had no parents.

She was hardwired for that and they got as much out of the relationship as she did

            -still learning from my elders.

It's nice to have elders to learn from.
