I find the voice and cadence really make a huge difference. It can put me to sleep if there's no energy to the recording!

I had one of Steven Kings books on tape once, and enjoyed how it was presented. But now, my days are spent listening more than watching TV, and on the computer. It fills my days.

Well 20+ years ago I listened to Steven Kings Nightmares and Dreamscapes on tape while I drove back and forth to work. It was 26.7 miles one way and took about 1 1/2 hours one way if there wasn't any accidents. It was the first time I ever listened to one and there were a few times sitting in traffic at 4 o'clock in the morning I wondered.......... Ahhh the joys of commuting in Southern Calif! I don't miss it by the way.

          Vicky,

The other night we watched an old movie, Moscow on the Hudson, w Robin Williams. Loved it.

Now that I've seen. Unfortunately, I don't remember much of it. I used to be able to name so many movies, and pretty much any movie star I saw, but most of that is gone, or takes me a long time to remember.

And for Robin Williams fans, I too thought he was mega talented!
