Suze, you really said so much of what I would have wanted to say, but am unable to put it so well. I have been off the forum with the exception of reading for a few days, due to my own depression and just turning inward. I know I need to reach out more, however I just do not have the energy. I went out with several ladies Wednesday night for dinner, and was with my brother Tuesday night. Two nights in a row and I was done for, and yet each night I really did nothing but go out to eat. I was in early both nights. Just the act of getting dressed and ready to go out now tires me out and yet the desire is there.
Joan, hope you are feeling better emotionally and hope that someday soon you will be better physically. You are an inspiration to us just by keeping on going.
By the way, loved the picture of your new Granddaughter. Hope they are able to bring her to see you soon.Virginia

This pretty much sums it up.
Having anxiety and depression is
like being scared and tired at the
same time. It's the fear of failure
but the urge to be productive. It's
wanting friends but hate socializing.
It's wanting to be alone but not
wanting to be lonely. It's caring
about everything then caring about
nothing. It's feeling everything at
once then feeling paralyzingly numb.
