Jason DaSilva wins Emmy for "When I Walk" documentary

A while back the remarkable film "When I Walk" was discussed here. If you didn't know, Jason DaSilva, the young man with MS who made the movie, won an Emmy and you can see his acceptance of it on this video:

Thanks Agate! I read the synopsis and I am going to go to PBS.org. The film they showed on here was the trailer. I had heard of this young man before this movie - at least I think it was him.

Aww! It's so touching to see him cry. I saw a special screening of this movie quite while back and got to meet Jason. He is awesome! He totally deserves this award since I learned a ton from this movie about MS and life in general. I saw the movie on POV a few months after the screening too. The movie is no longer on the PBS website but they still do screenings and you can check Jason's website for screening dates. He always has different media and accessibility projects on Kickstarter so you may be able to find info on him that way.
