    New Year plans?

Got plans for tonight? How are you going to spend it?

The cats and I will spend it as usual, watching TV. But tonight, I'm going to work on the beer I made a special trip to the store just to get.

But I've not had ANY beer for 10 days! Why? Just for me.

Happy New Year forum friends, and the "read only" people! Join us, we don't bite, but Cat may scratch you!

What kind of beer is it, Howie? Not the cheap stuff again!

We are at Mom's in PA. We had Chinese food for dinner and are trying to stay up for a sparkling cider toast.

Bronchitis is nearly gone after 3 months! Fatique and sleeping 12 hours w some persistent lower limb weakness continues. It is good to have lungs back on line.

      Happy New Year, BT Community!

We're going to do pretty much what we always do. Go to bed early. We're usually asleep by 10 p.m. Somehow the new year manages to come in without us! In past years we have had a glass of wine before going to bed...but I'm still on antibiotics and will be for another couple of weeks, and Tom Cat isn't drinking at all...so our drink of choice tonight is Arginage for m (a protein supplement, tastes like Tang), and a glass of cherry soda for TC. We're real party folks... :)

We went out to dinner at a local eatery: Atlantic Salmon, shrimp, scallops, calamari. Now home in jammies. Dave is watching BBC news (and hacking up a lung!). Later we will have some of his birthday cake and some hot spiced cider. Probably will see in the new year as our normal to bed time is generally around 11:30. Will likely find a movie to watch on Amazon Fire TV (Christmas gift that we are still exploring). Happy to all.

Vicky, it's called Natural Ice. 5% Alcohol, so it's not a lite beer, but not the full blown 6.4 beer. I like it!

Cat, your schedule sounds like mine, at 10, I'm gone. But I am going to TRY to stay awake until 12 tonight, but it's not looking good!

Not a party animal here. Unlike Howie's cats, for instance.

I'll go to sleep at the usual time but probably the fireworks will wake me up.

My new space heater came today and I'll sleep like a top because it gives a much more pleasant heat than the wall heater that blows hot air at me. This heater and I are going to get along fine. It's lightweight enough for carrying around, has a handle, and is easy to operate, with built-in safety features.

I had half of one baked potato and tomorrow I'll decide what to do with the other half. I really appreciated the many helpful suggestions.

ANN, that's a long long spell of bronchitis you've had. Now at last you can breathe again, and let's hope it won't be staging any comebacks.

              Happy New Year to everyone!

They've improved space heaters considerably since my last one, which was many years ago.

:) Happy New Year everyone! Jamie's mother made black eyed peas and ham and gave some to Andy for me for tomorrow. Lacy is still shaking, poor thing. I have the TV on the ball drop and will try to stay awake for that. I am going to have pumpkin pie and egg nog. We all do the best we can with our MS and this board helps a lot. Jeanie :)

                      Jeanie you are so right.

Hope everyone has a great New Years. We will be parting hard....Ok I am falling asleep just thinking about staying up. I think I ate too much dinner (ham and beans) except ours was sith Navy beans sometimes called Great Northern Beans. They taste soooo good it is hard not to have that 2nd bowlful ha ha. I just remembered a couple of trips to the candy dish and a couple of pieces of fudge.

One of the dogs and one of the cats got into a little bit of Nacho cheese sauce along with some chips and pretzels that I left on the coffee table. About 2 tablespoons worth. Unfortunately they are the 2 that like to sleep next to me in bed. I think I will leave a can of air freshener next to the bed, or lock them in the bathroom all night. My pets are pretty good (even the cats) about not getting into stuff. I left the room for about 1/2 an hour so I guess I shouldn't tempt them like that. When I walked back into the living room the cat ran into the bedroom and the dog ran over to the dog blanket that he has to lay on when he gets into trouble. All without me saying a word, when they ran off I kinds guessed that something was up!

OK...It's 2016 here at this point. We watched the Amazon Prime movie "Interstellar (great movie with all star cast) then switched over to Steven Colbert interviewing Sharon Stone for the New Year toast. David's still watching the show with James Taylor singing his remake of "Fire and Rain" to include so many things he's seen since he wrote the song in the 70's. Humerous.

Blessings, Health and a good night to all.

I went to bed around 10:00 and the neighborhood was quiet. Things have been pretty calm around this area since the terrorists in France. Sad that it took a tragedy.
