    Stabbing sensation

The past couple of months, after I exercise for about ten minutes, I periodically feel like someone is stabbing a needle on the bottom of my left foot. It happened again today while swimming and it stopped my laps swimming as I was sure it would lead to a foot cramp or shin cramp.

I am suspicious it's an MS neuropathy. Do you get this at all?

Recently, I've had the sensation of a needle stabbing my feet. I can tolerate it because it only lasts a few seconds. After it's happened, I will rub my foot, and that stops it from happening again for awhile. I hope you can get some relief.

Is it in the same area every time? Reason I ask is I have something similar in the ball of my foot.

Mine is towards the toes, just where the arch starts.....unless you are flat-footed.

I get stabbings in my thighs. Either side.

Just happens on rare occasion, mostly just one time (stab), then it's gone again. Has happened for years and years.

This is one wacky disease, huh?

I used to get a sharp stab in my eye. I got it every few months for many years. When it started I would get these stabs for several times a weeks , for several times a day. Excruciating pain but, like SuzE-Q, it only lasts a second.

Yes, stabbing in the ball of my foot and toes too! Daily when over tired or hot!

I get sudden stabs in the area of the arch of my foot. Also in my left ankle where I broke it years ago but I was told that would happen.
