Watching the kingfisher nest now, sitting on 7 eggs. Watch the films for a glimpse of the eggs, if mama won't get off while you're watching. Such pretty, colorful birds!

Sometimes it's shown in black and white? When I looked earlier I wondered where the color was but this time I could see it.

Amazing bird to look at! Mom did a quarter-turn on the eggs and I had a look at some of them. She didn't stand up to do the turn but sort of shifted around while staying right on those eggs.

I had a blurry vision last night, I think mom was doing some odd, rhythmic movement as she sat on the eggs. I couldn't see much but a splash of moving color.

Six live owlets and 2 eggs. She's off the nest and out of the box now.

They have all been in a group leaning on one another this evening. Every time I looked they were alone.

It's been survival of the fittest for the Barn owls 7 that hatched, but the 3 remaining are looking good. Let's hope they'll survive and successfully fledge!
