    My tag line ---- offensive?

    WOULD LIKE YOUR OPINIONS PLEASE. THANKS



    was just told that my tag line is offensive. Proably looks like i abuse animals. F ME! !!!!!! i have a perverse & dark sense of humour & i wont appologize. Why? Thats me.

    Jeeze Louise is all i can say. Get a grip. Ok i might be making enemies, but i cetainly dont bitch about the 60% or more tags lines ive read.

    Some of us just like to make a funny, others use their tag lines for sympatjy,

    Yeah we are all ill. Yeah we all have this or that or both.

    Humour is good for the soul.

    I tjink i just made enemies saying what i said, but such is life.

    Life is a buch of cherries & we all got the pits.

THEY KNOW A JOKE WHEN THEY HEAR IT? THEY PLAY PRANKS ON EACHOTHER. THEY PLAY TOGETHER

            Charlotte, I've been bothered by your signature line but you're probably right. I should get a grip. I've been paying too much attention to news stories about pets who are thrown out of car windows, pets left by the roadside to fend for themselves just because their humans are tired of them, pets deliberately poisoned by hostile neighbors who set out tempting treats laced with cyanide, etc. And I've seen all too many animals who were roadkill.

            I'll keep on telling myself I'm too touchy and try to get a grip.

            I have no idea who told you you your signature line is offensive. If it was a moderator, I'm not the one who raised the issue. I'll admit that the thought did cross my mind a couple of times though.

            This isn't meant as an attack on you. You're someone trying to deal with MS, and it's hard enough to cope with life's stresses when you have MS without having to be upset over a difference of opinion about a forum signature line.

            I hope we can agree to disagree and carry on.

              I freely acknowledge that I am the one who told her that. For many of the reasons you state, agate. Animal abuse and cruelty has just become listed as a class A federal felony, too, making it a criminal matter.

              I have a firm grip. This isn't funny. Just because it is a pun, doesn't make it less offensive. I've blocked her so I don't have to read it each time I'm reading other posts to which she's also replied.

                I feel the same way. I am sure that someone feels the same way about mine. Everyone has different thoughts about what they consider humor.

                  Charlotte, I agree with both Ann and Gary. My sentiments exactly, so not much need for me to repeat them. The first time I saw it I just kind of did a "double take" and after reading it that time I have not bothered to read your signature line, just your post.

                              Thanks Ann. As we all know humour is subjective. Yes i have called the spca wjen a saw a dog in the neighbours back yard on a sweltering hot day & he had no water. Even called about a teen that hit dog with a skateboard.

                              Ive called CPS on families that abuse, beat their childern.

                              Noooooo i am not one who stands by idely when i see abuse, i take action.

                              My Lord, I have my cat Sidewinder. i wonder how many would habe taken him in, fed him with an eye dropper, then with a baby spoon & then looked for a smal bowl.

                              He was 3 weeks old when my daughter found him logged in between a fence.

                              Over the years he has caused so much damage to the carpet in livingroom, but i would NEVER get rid of him.

                              He is my compadre.
