          I've heard only a few of his songs but yes, they're fairly somber.

          "The Stranger" is the theme song for the movie "McCabe and Mrs. Miller." IMO that movie wouldn't have been nearly as good without that music backing it up.

            Yes quite the songs of all the women that have slighted/left him 'heart broken'. Most of his 'cukold' songs were when he was younger & a ladies man & very full of himself. As he got older ( 80's now) he seems more at peace & very grateful to all his new & long time followers/admirers. The Tower Song makes me cry each time i hear it. I love his London concert. My son gave it to me years ago. I love watching & listenung. I'll try to find whole concert & post.

              His music & forget which songs were in a 3 part Criminal Minds program.
