I suspect he might have found more interesting things to do than to entertain us.

--Or to be entertained by us. We need a dog and pony show or some cancan girls or something!

Since he's gay I doubt he's all that interested in can-can girls.

I was talking about people in general. Cabana boys or cancan boys or beefcake lads would be useful as well.

            Oligodendrocytes can be so dull.

mchlkrk was last logged in here on 12/31/16. People get busy. Or they lose interest. Or message boards in general don't appeal to them. Or they drop in every now and then.

One thing I like about a message board is that it usually puts no pressure on you. You're not required to log in and post. If you prefer not to think about MS or to think about us at this board, you're free to hang out wherever you want.

I'm not sure how anyone would opt not to think about visiting this board because we're so fascinating, though. We even have wildlife shows.

              And our own critter emoticons:

Agate, you've gotten so good at posting all kinds of stuff!!!

Nuthatch, I expect Mike will stop in if he needs information on something. I think we are a little more progressed in our MS than he was, and I think he was leading a busy life.

I suspect you're right, Virginia. There are lots of "guests" that visit this site and never post anything at all. I hope that all feel welcome here and don't think that this site is for only "experienced" MSers or that just "long time members" should post here. As I said, variety is the spice of life!

I always thought anyone was free to lurk here as often or as long as they liked. I often come here and look around and leave.

I remember quite a few people who posted for the first time here and said they'd been lurking for YEARS. They just hadn't felt like saying anything, or they were shy, or they didn't have message boards figured out, or they were busy.

I like to think we're here for people like that. Still here after all these years.

It's easy to lurk here because it doesn't require sign-in to read.
However, I'm not sure you can see all the threads. I remember in the past (probably a former incarnation of this board) that some threads I did not see until I logged in.

You can see threads, and if you're registered, post. Sometimes I go in to the lurker mode: come here, read, but not post. If you're not registered, you will be able to read all the posts but can't post yourself. I know this because when I tried to come here on my kindle, my regular password/user name wouldn't work. I could read everything, but couldn't post. I ended up registering the kindle under a different passwor/user name....thus the catdancer/uppitycats confusion....
