    Sounds really interesting.

And I didn't know that dental plaque is an example of a biofilm.

Little by little, they're finding out about the immune system and neurological disorders.
    SPMS diagnosed 1980. Avonex 2001-2004. Copaxone 2006-2009. Glatopa (glatiramer acetate = Copaxone) 12/20 - 3/19/24.

      Thank you for this article.
For many years, way before diagnosis, I would have periods of time when my whole system felt sick. I would take a course of general antibiotics and feel better almost immediately.

I have tried to tell my doctors about this for years and found it impossible to get anyone to pay serious attention. This article that you posted supports what I have been noticing.

Well, the sun is shining here and that is a good thing! I love early morning best.

That seems rather more like it, but if I was The Editor, I would make one slight change:

"...Now, they give immune suppressive drugs. Maybe you want to do something else, like treat the underlying [cause]."

It would probably also help to identify [it] first, but I suppose one has to start somewhere.

Here's hoping trees don't block forest. [this time/for a change]
