    Hello!
I did invite , this morning, that gal from the beach to take a look at this board. She is the second woman I met with MS, the one who recently moved here and was courageous.

So be on your good behavior if she checks out our little community :)

I'll be on my best behavior, but it won't be easy!

Thank you BBS for inviting your new found lady friend, however as far as being nice, I will be but Howie is a different story.

You did warn her about Howie didn't you?

              Hi new member, .

Please beware of Howie. He's not mean, he just likes to be shocking.

The gal is becoming a regular at the beach and has been getting stronger. Years in a wheelchair can atrophy muscles. It's amazing to see her walking and getting stronger. I gave her a boogie board today and taught her how to use it. I hope it's a source of fun!

BBS, I didn't realize she had been in a wheel chair. To be in a wheelchair and move that far alone is amazing.

Indeed! She had been in wheelchair for 8 years.

BBS, you are such a fine example for her. She could have been talked into a chair in the beginning by well meaning friends, but now you are showing her a positive way to be. Keep going!!!

She is lucky to have you. I hope she checks in here when she is up to it!

Maybe her doc talked her into it. He was all doom and gloom. I am lucky she was put in my path :) she is such a gentle soul.

Maybe she is RR and has just come into a period of remission, and with your help I expect she will stay there.

She is a very determined person for sure. I look forward to getting to know her and the gift of getting to watch her get stronger each week.
