    Weird tight hat

Such a weird thing. I get this crazy sensation that I am wearing a tight baseball cap. There is banding across the forehead and around the head somewhat as well, it comes for minutes, lets up for a few seconds or so, disappears, reappears, increases as the day wears on, barely there early mornings.

Originally I thought it was just sinus pressure which is one of those ever present problems. But came to think its MS. Sinus pressures doesn't let up, come and go and come and go all day.

My treatment is to put on a tight baseball cap. It creates a situation where the pressure feeling is "real" and doesn't come and go, thereby tricking the brain.

    Clever solution there!

Sounds as if it could be another of those banding sensations, a bit like the MS hug?

    I think it's called dysesthesia.

BBS, strange symptom - kind of like my face is right now. I don't know if it is MS with me or not, but I believe it is.

You could kill two birds with one stone. Wear a tinfoil hat. Relieve that "hat wearing feeling", and keep aliens from reading your mind. I'm sitting here with the cats, and we are all wearing ours.

I hear that Howie has some extra foil you could probably borrow...

Speaking of weird sensations, I feel like I'm stepping on a lump on the bottom of one of my feet...but there's no bump there!

Let's face it, we're just a wacky bunch!

Wacky bunch is a nice way of putting it! But we deal daily with things that really would make most nuts. We are a special, VERY strong bunch! But wacky.
