It seems like a really clear discussion of the stem cell situation, particularly Dr. Burks's final cautionary comment about those patients who got involved in "medical tourism"--getting stem cell treatments by going to questionable providers.SPMS diagnosed 1980. Are stem cell treatments meant just for the young? Maybe now in the early stage that's who's getting them but I had the impression that they would work for any age.

Depends on what is involved for me. However, what I was referring to is the fact that they said it is a ways off. I probably will not be around.
