    Man with MS 26 years walks daughter down aisle at wedding with help of exoskeleton

    Was there a discussion about these exoskeletons a while back? It seems that a man who's had MS for 26 years was able to walk his daughter down the aisle at her wedding thanks to an exoskeleton. In the linked article there's a video. It doesn't give a very clear picture of the exoskeleton but you get the general idea:

      I couldn't see the wedding, it wouldn't load. It would just make me cry anyway.

        There isn't that much to see in the wedding video--it's very short. The views of the exoskeleton are much better in the other two links that were posted a while back.

        Yes, it is depressing in one way but in another way you have to be happy that the guy who wanted that much to be at the wedding was able to be there.

        Maybe that's one problem with MS boards--they tend to be depressing, and people safeguard their peace of mind by staying away?

        Yes, we're depressing as all get-out. But here we are, available for those who want to pick our brains or share ideas or find out about how to make a cup of coffee for Howie.

              I was feeling a bit down after I posted this with the thought that people here might want to see the exoskeleton actually being used by somebody, after there had been a discussion of it, and instead it had the effect of making people sad.

              It wasn't my intention....

                Well I'm not sad, I'm just sleepy. People may cry at a wedding, but they are tears of joy, not sadness. I've seen the exoskeleton before, but not in use. I don't know how fluid the motion is in use.

                So no sadness! Be happy because tomorrow is PAYDAY!!! Howie can buy Tootsie Rolls!!!

                  Agate, I don't think we are depressing. We each have our bad days, but on the whole I think we are pretty uplifting.

                  I was glad you posted this video. I found it to be very sweet but not sad. Dad is obviously a loving and determined man when it comes to his lovely daughter.
