How to check for Windows 10 Anniversary update

A while back we were discussing whether those with Windows 10 have the Anniversary Update. There's a way to find out whether you already have it installed:

I like 10 but then I went from XP to 10. There were any number of versions of Windows in between XP and 10. Maybe you have Windows 7?

I have 8.1 and don't want to change. My internet use is very limited, and it does all I ever do.

How about that, Howie. We actually agree on something!

Vicky, I understand where you are coming from but remember:

The me who tried 10 and
The me who no like 10 are

the same me who probably worked on it!!!!! Might be the reason that me didn't like it. Howie, is this a possibility?

It's taking me a while just to learn my way around this version. I used to have a good memory but those days are gone.

I've looked at 10 and I don't like it. I don't necessarily want the "latest and greatest" any more if an earlier version is working well.

                  I don't like 8, 8.1, or 10, I'm running 7.

This isn't a competition, I just wanted to add my 2 cents. lol

Jendie, my brother likes 7 and still runs it. He says it's the best version of Windows to him.

I wasn't trying to compete. Everyone has their own reasons for preferring their own version. I was only finding it remarkable that I agreed with Howie!

Yeah, it's the little things like agreeing with Howie, that makes life worth living! Right Howie? You know it Howie!

I went directly from XP to 10 and so don't know anything about those other versions but I've been amazed at how much more user-friendly Win 10 is compared to XP. The technology has come a long way in the last 12 years or so.
