    Another "gift" fromMS

Since having MS I notice that stress causes physical pain. Which is why since the election, I can't watch news anymore and can only read it in small doses.

I do notice that with stress I tense up the body which then causes tingling all over.

I wonder if stress does stuff like this to everyone, it's just not usually noticeable if body works correctly.

Stress is bad, even if you don't have MS, and when combined with MS, can really do a number on you.

There is no trick to it, but I have NO stress in my life whatsoever. I don't worry about anything. These two cats provide such comfort. It's hard to feel stress as you are stroking them and listening to them purr.

You can take stress out of your life, but what's required is different for each of us. I wish you luck in reducing, or removing stress from your life.

I do lead a pretty stress free life. Some is unavoidable. I am glad you found a good formula for your life!

I think a lot of us are experiencing stress after this election. For good reason, in my opinion. I've turned away from Facebook, watch the news in small doses, and occupied my time with making out templates on my computer, pre addressed sheets, so I can quickly write to my legislators when issues come up. Already used them.

If stress is pretty bad, I suddenly go all weak. I turn into jello. I have to lie down and stay lying down for quite a while, trying to unwind.

In recent years under stress I lose my appetite. My bowels turn to water as the saying goes. I start feeling physically sick.

I try hard to keep these effects from happening. I talk myself into calming down and not thinking too much about whatever is causing me stress. Listening to music helps--not just any music but music I want to hear.

I too have stopped watching tv news and FB since election. I scan google news. Last night after the bad infusion, I put on the new country Keith Urbann song, Blues not your color , and slow danced with DH, first time since 2004 and the tension immediately went away. Love that song.

Stress and tensing of muscles that come with it are very bad for me. I feel a lot worse from everything that is going on in my body when stressed. Therefore, since 11-7 I have not felt very well.

I've had bad problems remembering in recent days.

My so-called prospective memory isn't good at all. That's the kind of memory for things that are coming up in the future. I always need a to-do list anyway, even at the best of times, but lately I have trouble remembering to put something on my to-do list. Or remembering to look at it!
