In fond memory of JTwin (*Joy*, Electric Joy)

stillstANNding has brought us the tragic news that Joy has lost her battle with PML and MS. I'm sure that this news hits everyone here very hard, since Joy was a valued member of the BrainTalk MS board starting in 2003.

Her family and friends--and stillstANNding was her closest friend--deserve our deepest sympathy at this very difficult time.

Joy had had many talents--including writing. I looked in the archives and found a haiku Joy wrote for this board (post #9):

:) My sympathy to Ann and your family. We miss you. PML is so scary and I am so sorry that you got it. I am grateful the only drug I take for MS is LDN. Jeanie :)

I looked up a post that Joy and I were discussing the cost of drugs in. She was helping me. Such a kind and warm person. I am so sorry for the loss her family and friends are going through. I am also deeply sorry for the sorrow and grief that our own Ann will feel for a long time.

Very sad. My heart goes out to Joy's family. As it does to Ann who was close to her.

Losing a dear friend is hard but losing one to something as disastrous as PML has to be much harder. ANN, you've been a very devoted friend to Joy. This board is here for you in whatever way we can be. ((((stillstANNding))))

Since this appeared on her Facebook page, I'm assuming it's all right to post the link here, for anyone wanting more information (including many photos) about Joy:

She was indeed. She spoke her mind but was always considerate. I never met her in person but always knew her to be supportive and kind.
