Keep on Moving Club: May 2017

Today I swam 210 Yards in 7 minutes.

Two days in a row, Bbs! Congratulations. No spasms?

Good for you, Bbs! I know that kind of feeling.

Agate, maybe she would be better w more sensible shoes and a walker. "Pride goeth before a fall."

The sensible shoes and the walker have been recommended to her many times over apparently. I've mentioned them a few times and so have other people. There's been some progress made. The other day she came up to me and happily announced that she was getting a walker though she did act as if it was a truly silly idea, the last thing in the world she'd need.

She's a very attractive woman even now. She's probably kept up her appearance diligently all her life and isn't about to start looking frail at this point.

My Mom needs a walker. My Dad's is available. Mom, 91, says she is not ready yet.

ANN, your mom sounds amazing.

Maybe that's the key to a long life (aside from picking the right ancestors)--knowing your own mind and refusing to take advice if you don't think it's what you want or need.

Stubbornness, in a word.

Just a tiny brief foot spasm, I had the nerve to cook supper for an hour post swim

Ann and Agate, you guys stop with the remarks about old people who just want to keep their appearance up.

Virginia, you are no where near 91.

No Ann, not quite there yet, but hope should I get there that I will still want to do my very best to keep myself as well as I can. Guess for us a lot of that depends on how MS deals with us.
