      Hi Ya Abby..

To add or change siggy, hit Forum Actions at the top of page and then hit Edit Profile, then at the left, Edit Signature.

      GOOD LUCK.

Anyone having problems with the way the board looks should try experimenting with the styles--several are available in the drop-down menu at the lower left of the screen.

DON'T choose the Lightweight option unless you're dealing with a smartphone. The Biggie Style option is recommended for people with vision problems.

Gabriella, it's good to laugh sometimes. I'm glad you don't mind that I was having some fun at your expense.

I have no problem with posts about chemtrails though the admin will probably say that the posts should have some connection with MS or at least be labelled OT because the admins have problems with too many OT posts....

I can't guarantee that there won't be trouble from anything anyone posts. I'm not in charge here. There are many people on this MS board who've been here longer than I have and/or who know more than I do. I just happen to have been hanging around when the board changeover happened, and so unfortunately there are agate posts all over the place just now.

You always take a chance on just about anything you post. Some days I don't want to post anything anywhere because I'm just not up to dealing with objections to what I said, and objections can come up any time, anywhere. I understand lurking.

I think everyone here wants to keep the peace.

Abby, about the signature problem, Sally is right. Maybe you're not finding the Forum Actions?

If you're using the Biggie style, which is what I have going, Forum Actions is hard to find. It's in the second row of choices across the top of the screen, but you have to "mouse over" to find it. Hover the mouse over the choices and it should show up.

Some of those choices show up superimposed on one another for me. Forum Actions is hiding under the Private Messages option. I guess or use the mouse-over trick.

When you've found Forum Actions, click on it and go to Edit Profile. Then you should find a list of choices on the left. Under My Settings, you'll find Edit Signature. Click on that, and you should be able to do your signature.

Or send me a PM and I'll try to help.

P.S. The style you're using should be visible in the lower left drop-down menu.

                    Funny But True

Agate, Your post made me laugh and was quite appropriate as the over reaction to my chemtrails post and the resulting situation was rather infantile. (Another Board-Not this one)

Hopefully, another siting of planes putting out chemtrails will not arouse the natives and stir them into a frenzy as the last one did. I think this board has more maturity and would not over react to hearing a news worthy story.

A lot of us including myself are homebound most of the time and it does get lonely when no one is posting a topic we can read whether it is midnight or noon. We can reply any time of the day or night.

Okay I am here to rabble rouse!!!! I am cured of MS by eating apple seeds soaked in white vinegar.

Well maybe not but my breath would be so bad no one would get close enough to notice.

I know how being alone is in itself depressing, one of the things I like about BT was all the noise that we created. Remember when you were first Dx and how scared and alone you felt. We all need to post more even when we don't necessarily have anything important to say,I don't know anything new and certainly have nothing to contribute to medical discussions. Its not fair to expect agate to carry us and why would anyone (new folks) post something on a board that isn't moving. People are finding their way back here and new folks will as well. Someone said if you build it they will come. Hmm maybe we should start a MS baseball team, I guess maybe not.

Hi Abby, for some reason my signature followed me to the new board.

Thanks Agate, I hadn't checked that out. I have my browser on larger print, so I'm ok, but it's so nice to have these helps.

Thanks Dave and Mike et al too!!!

                          Hi Everyone,

Thanks Agate for letting me know about the lurkers. I actually thought that if you were a member it automatically showed your name. Lurkers are creepier than having no one but the moderators on with you.

One of these days I am going to have the patience to learn all the in and outs of the forum. So far, I have been real lazy about that - if I can post and others can read it, and I can read what they post then I have been satisfied. That is not very ambitious. I am going to resolve to do better - well, at least some day I will.:o

I am so impressed when someone post a cake like Agate did for Peg's birthday. I still can't do all that stuff. I think part of this is because I am more a straight line person than a circular one - which of course means I am more analytical than creative.

I enjoyed reading about Gabriella's chemtrails - so funny that something like that got you in trouble.

I do agree that we should try posting on here more often. I miss the old busy days just like other guys do. I first came on in September, 2000 and was a lurker until I got up the nerve to post in January, 2001. I got so much good information from this forum. I could never thank the people enough who helped me through that time. I spent hours reading and asking questions.

Anyone know what happened to Kamakaze Mark or our use to be resident researcher xxo Mark?

Hi Lindalinda, good to see you.

I am going to go to bed earler tonight I think, so I will not be up with the moderators. That a joke - they are very nice, but all of a sudden my smilies are not all working:) Now they're back.

Thanks for the kind words about the birthday image, Virginia. I'm still trying to get the hang of posting images here. I've been tinkering with images for years now and still don't seem to know what I'm doing....

I think the people in charge are waiting to see what problems develop and they'll deal with them as they come along rather than opening up a board that was working perfectly. It's a work in progress, you might say.

I don't know what happened to xo++ (Mark). His posts were very helpful and much appreciated.
