Brooks Falls - Bears & salmon live now!

Both bears were out today, but not acting like they were that interested in eating. They would kind of look like they were going to fish a little, but then they would just kind of forget about it. Do they never get cold? Even in that heavy coat they have on they have been out there a long time.

Good fishing season for those two bears I'm seeing. Those would be salmon swimming into the waterfall, I assume.

They swim upstream to spawn and die. The effort of getting there seems to wear them out, and I can see why. Swimming against the current has to be hard, even for a fish.

I understand that they have a knack for finding the very stream where they were born, and that's where they head in order to spawn.
