I swam 12 minutes today, 300 Yards, 3football fields. I think the car to the pool is 50yards, and pool to locker room is @30 Yards. The pools shower requires standing for 1-2 minutes. So, the swim and the walking and standing all counted for moving around. And to think a year ago I swam a mild every day, and didn’t think twice about the walk...

There are some thoughts that are better off not being thought, maybe.Originally posted by BBS1951 View Post... "Every movement counts" is my motto for every day of my life. When I make a meal which today was a Compleat's dinner, coleslaw. an English Muffin, and a glass of soy milk, comes together so I don't take an extra step I don't need too.
Just a few extra steps is my fault. I have to plan ahead to do what's required to make a meal, and get it back to my bedroom where I eat, and not have any major spills.
The fact I had to go to the store today, and get everything inside without spilling anything, is the main goal, but it wears me out. Not sleepy, but just worn out. I'm a big believer in that we with MS get a certain of energy each day.
Days like today where I went to the grocery store is pushing the limit of how much energy I have. I've noticed that I'm pushing my limits with days like today. But I keep doing it as long as I can.
But in one hour, I will have gotten by for another day, and that's all any of us are given...one day at a time. Sleep well everyone!

You had a colonoscopy today? Being able to come here and post after that sounds like an achievement to me!Originally posted by stillstANNding View PostI ran to the bathroom at least 3 times yesterday afternoon and walking quickly off and on all night.
Today, after the colonoscopy and a long nap, I did 2 loads of laundry.
Every movement counts. ;-)
