    "Wheel pad" - accessible unit to add to home

    I saw an article about this:

    It's good to know what's available. For instance, even though this is pricey, it is cheaper than buying anything in Boston. I'm thinking of my Mom. I don't think we could get it on the property but still good to know.

    That looks really useful. Even though 200 square feet isn't much, I believe it's meant to be an interim housing arrangement, and the person would have access to the larger house as well, meanwhile.

        Great aid to help so many families avoid nursing homes....no matter what it costs I bet it would save families from spending savings on places that separate people from each other in times of transition or even in times that would become permanent caretaking places instead of hospitals etc.

        I know that our greenhouses are considered places that are temporary/movable and are not taxed as permanent structures. I bet that is what designers of the wheel pad are dealing with...
