    Cold water in the mouth might help heat sensitivity in MS

    For years and years my constant companion every day has been a container of Diet Pepsi or Diet Coke but I don't like it at room temperature. I used to add ice cubes but now I'm happy if it's refrigerated. Just so it tastes cold. I thought it must be the caffeine it it that was making me feel "swifter." Now I wonder if it's this as well:

    There's also Howie's Phenomenon where cold beer in your mouth can make you feel better.

      I'm guessing that it wouldn't have to be water. It could be any chilled liquid involving water. So yes, cold beer might have the same effect.
