I also posted this on the Stiff Person Syndrome bulletin board. Bet it could help SPS too.

Good information. Very timely for me. I have a new eye doc to see.
I have lots of visual oddities...that’s what I call them!

A number of years ago I found eye exercises on the Mayo Clinic site and they were helpful. I had forgotten about them.

I'm so glad someone is addressing these MS problems. I looked up the abstract for the article in Neurology:

Standing on different surfaces was one of the components of the study. I have very definite problems with standing on different surfaces. Sometimes when I leave my patio to go a few steps across the bare ground (dirt, grass and weeds, a few rocks, slightly uneven terrain with a few tree roots) I very nearly fall, especially in hot weather. Moving from one type of surface to another is really difficult, and some surfaces are much more of a challenge than I'd expect.
        SPMS diagnosed 1980. Avonex 2001-2004. Copaxone 2006-2009. Glatopa (glatiramer acetate = Copaxone) 12/20 - 3/19/24.

Agate, I am the same on different surfaces. I really have to be careful when I am walking and where I am walking and stepping.
