I like "Ubliterate." You obliterate MS?

Maybe Tux, like you're dressed up to go somewhere important.

What is this site? Anyway, the iMac at the end means it is a monoclonal antibody? Rituximab and Ocrevus have the same ending. Ocrevus and rituxan areused for non Hodgkins lymphoma too....and myesthenia gravis (sp)....

Yes, the -mab ending on a drug indicates that it's a monoclonal antibody.

This guide to drug names is long but might be of some use:

The more the merrier! Doesn't depleting B cells sometimes cause infections?

This seems to have been a concern, at least with Rituxan. They're talking mainly about rheumatoid arthritis here but it looks as if patients were found to be more vulnerable to infection after their first infusions but otherwise the researchers found that Rituxan had a good safety profile:

Rituxan and Ocrevus have great safety records...almost no side effects (people take the infusions easily with no down time at all) and there is some evidence of repair. Limited repair but real. That’s why they are talked about as game changers.

I am 70 and my neurologist fights for me to be on rituxan and will switch me to Ocrevus if need be. I am glad he is a researcher and has been at a research hospital. He has just retired but Has left my new neurologist a huge amount of material on my case. Luck seems to follow me because the new neurologist had read that material before she saw me for the first time!
