Thanks. I do really good exercises lying in bed before I get up. I have a strap that has loops all the length of it and can use it in dozens of ways. Someone on The Active MSers recommended it and it has been as good as I could imagine. Wakes up my muscles so I am limber when I get out of bed. I got mine through Amazon.

Now I can go from bed to chair and hope that sets me up for the day! Thanks for posting this link.

Linda, what would you call that to search for it?

Linda, I also ordered that at your suggestion. I need to use it more. At least I do when my back gets better.

These are really good chair exercises, although my legs got very tired very quickly and I had to stop. Maybe if I did them on a regular basis I would build up to it.

This is where I would need an I pad or something other than my desk top computer and monitor. The space is too close.

Virginia, I am going to a chiropractor for my back, first time ever, tomorrow. I hope it doesn’t make it worse

I saw a chiropractor for years. I thought it helped but have come to understand that stretching work did a lot more to actually change the situation.
I never know what to say or not say but, there is something I will throw out. I watched a program about chiropractors and have 2 takeaways still. One is that letting a chiropractor crack your neck has a tiny but real danger in it. The other showed a chiropractor explaining what he was doing and why and then had doctors explaining the incorrect information the patients were being given.
Who recommended you go? Do all your doctors agree? Be cautious and ..good luck!

That is the strap that I have, but I did not get a poster with it. I wish I knew how I could get just that without rebuying the strap. I am going to try to use it again when my back gets better. I think the stretching exercises are really good for you, and some of them are good for the back. However, in the shape mine is in right now, I would be a little afraid to try much of anything.

Sunshine, let us know how the Chiropractor works out. I don't know one and don't know anyone who goes to one. Do not want them cracking my neck. Does insurance cover any of this?
