      Amazing kid there!

She knew what she needed to improve her life and it wasn't available anywhere--so she made it herself.

          I could use one too.

There must be many people who can walk sometimes with assistance but use a wheelchair at other times on a typical day-- people with neurological problems like MS, where your mobility can vary from day to day, even moment to moment.

I hope that Sadie can patent her invention!

Yep. And before a medical equipment company makes it!

She looks to be about 8 years old. I love her mind. I would buy one of those in a heartbeat! I'v been looking for something like that for years. I imagine it would be great for MS and stroke as well as many other conditions. I hope she keeps inventing!

I want one. There are times when I'm out and about using my walker and my legs scream for a time out before I'm finished.

Virginia, I do have a scooter, but sometimes we forget to bring it, thinking I'll be fine for the quick trip to the store.

Jendie, it's really easy to be overly optimistic, isn't it?

Walkers just aren't very attractive no matter how people dress them up. I don't enjoy calling attention to myself. But not falling down is important.

Jendie, I am glad you do have a scooter for when you want to take it.

Jendie I sure know that feeling of legs screaming!

I call my wheelchairs R2D2. It started with the beach one. It makes me smile when I look st the chair as a robot.

I'm just glad my walker has a seat for a rest on those overly optimistic days, but that's also one of the reasons I wish I had a walker/wheeler.

                            *Wistful thinking*
