He's OK! His sister sent a message. He's been without power, and she says it may be a few more days before it's restored because they're restoring power to people based on how many people are affected in each person's area, and he's in an area where only 6 people were affected.

Thanks, Agate, for keeping on top of this! I'm glad to hear that he is OK, but without power. Trailers are no place to be in a heavy wind storm, much less than a hurricane or tornado. Around here, where there are tornadoes, we call them "tornado magnets", as they seem to be the first destroyed when a tornado hits them.

So glad to hear that Howie is okay. I wonder how he's managing without power. Unable to cook, and his fridge food might be spoiling. Can't watch TV. I hope his power is restored soon.
Thanks agate for following up and keeping us informed.

What's that clucking sound?
It feels good to be missed, but it DOESN'T feel good to be without power for a week. But I'm back now, and the power outage I'm sure had something to do with Sam, but I can't prove it!

So happy to see your post!!!
We hens were mighty worried about you! And with good reason. Did your home sustain any damage? What happened to your food without power?
Sam is in control of the weather, eh? Maybe it's time to have a little chat with her.
So glad you're okay.

Cat, I kept bags of ice in the fridge, then get more after 2 days, so I ate sliced ham and cheese, and coleslaw. I also had chips and crackers, but actually didn't have much of an appetite.
For entertainment, I bought batteries for a transistor radio I have, and I have a "boom-box" that plays CDs. But it was my computer I missed the most."Given the millions of billions of Earth-like planets, life elsewhere in the Universe without a doubt, does exist."
