Information on Therapy Bands please?

FOr a long time, I saved information about therapy bands, and an item on Amazon for wish list. A ew weeks ago, I regrettedly deleted it and cant retrieve it.

I suspect I got the idea on our board for a particular brand and type. I want to try seeing if using it on legs judiciously will trigger spasms.

Does anyone recall it? There are plenty to choose from on amazon, but none look familiar.

I've often bought them through Sit and Be Fit, the Website for an exercise program on TV that I watched for many years:

They held up well. There are two "levels" to choose from--light and medium, and those are explained.

I've also ordered them through Amazon but can't recall just which ones. When I need one, I go to Amazon and pay attention to the ratings and the reviews.

Interesting that they have loops on their ends. I haven't ever tried that type.

My PCP suggested it as I do very little weight bearing due to leg spasticity. I dont know if these will cause SPS spasms but will try them. He is worried I need a way to lose bone mass due to osteoporosis etc.

Hi Kiddo! I use the stretch out straps. I have posted about them for years. I got the original. Information from an Active MSer posting. They are not stretch but a solid material with many loops that you can use to put your feet or hands in. The stretching positions I take with it are infinite. I tried to post a link to it but not sure if it will work.

I had to remove the link I posted...too much info.. but just go to amazon and search stretch out strap...it is a green strap.

They don’t have loops on the ends. They are one continues loop. One exercise for me, for instance, is to have the loop around my ankles and then take a bigger step sideways against the resistance. I only do that when Peter is home.
