    Mavenclad (cladribine) has FDA approval for RRMS and "active" SPMS

    Just after the approval of Mayzent (siponimod), along comes Mavenclad (cladribine), which has just received FDA approval and should be available in a couple of weeks, according to this news release from the MSAA (April 1, 2019). It's for relapsing forms of MS, including SPMS if there are still relapses:

    SPMS diagnosed 1980. Avonex 2001-2004. Copaxone 2006-2009. Glatopa (glatiramer acetate = Copaxone) 12/20 - 3/19/24.
