Cystoscopy with anesthesia

The Urologist has recommended a Cystoscopy and Hydrodistension under anesthesia to rule out Interstitial Cystitis and also to take a biopsy of the bladder.

Seems like some people here had this procedure. But I can’t recall what they said about it. Was it maybe Virginia, Cat, and ANN?

Sunshine, not the hydrodistension unless it was one of the things done without anesthesia.

I've had the cystoscopy done but with no anesthesia. The hydrodistention was done at another time--no anesthesia then either unless there may have been a local (I don't recall). When the two are done together, I believe an anesthetic is given.
