Consumer Reports did a poll to find out how online grocery delivery services stack up. Some I hadn't heard of are listed.

The Peapod service I use is just great. However, Stop & Shop workers are on strike and I will not cross the picket line so, for me, no Peapod until the strike is over! (I never get bad foods and I get a lot of veggies and fruit. If something is not good they just take it off the bill. No question.

The good news is that we are using the foods from our freezer!

My fish store (right off the boat) now has a delivery service: for my location $5 (plus tip). I will try it on days I cannot manage the drive, the waiting, the walk to the store front from car....maybe during tourist and snow bird.season when the waiting gets dicey. I like the increased business for DH, but don’t like the huge traffic increase, and lines at the stores, — the non locals are so obvious—but they don’t know it. You can make them right away— amusing.

I have to wait on the bench, to sit, and people crowd in , in front of me by the fish case. So, when they yell out”who’s next?” I have to loudly assert myself, and once had to contradict someone. They know me there, bring me the fish and the credit card machine.
