    I just can't make it

    I HAD NO CURSOR FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!

    sorry, can't use shift key.

thought maybe title too long so here is rest of title "who wrote 'keep your stick on the ice'?"

i am flat on ice, alone, the stick fell down a long time ago.

mike made me a community member after i did a typo i could not correct because i did not have enough posts. and protested long and loud on FF.

The Irish prayer says "May the wind be always at your back.

i have gale force winds at my front.

i mean make it period.... and make it to the ocean. every year since 2003 i have gone to the ocean, first for a week only, then for two. in october, after heat gone.

her name was like jillian, she lived in canada.

she got me there one year. but the major force is the abuser, but also a badly injured r leg.

one year, watching the shore birds from my car, i kept saying her mantra.

everything is broken, computer, camera, the main thing i do there, no clean water

and mike knows he slashed down my trumpet vine after Irene, it was one of first plants i put in here, could see if from bed or from my seat on bed every day.

and the birds who perched there.

first it was the heat, then the humidity, but mostly it is no support.

oh, i had a brother died TH after labor day and other brother came here that fri....first visit in more than 12 years. since his return to IA he has not returned one single call.
no, i had not made peace with the brother who died.

i probably feel greater loss about the trumpet vine.

no one will take him on, abuser. the living bro is from IA a dr, he flew to hartford for other brother and drove up here.

it is the lack of support. i see someone wrote a book, the blocks of text are too big for me.

mine would be of a descent.

i feel like an empty place on my back where a hand should be.

i am not whining, i can't type all that has happened/is happening.

Hi Barbara, welcome back. I am so sorry for all your anxiety nd pain. I hope you feel better soon.

I think it was Jayne, who said "keep you stick on the ice"

Hope you'll find a light at the end of the tunnel, Barbara, and it won't be a burglar's torch. Or any other bad thing.

Was it jiane who had the signature line "Keep your stick on the ice"? That's my recollection anyway.

She vanished from the scene. I miss her posts and wonder if she's doing OK.

Barbara, sorry things are so rough for you. I hope everything will soon look a little brighter. It is so easy to say just hang on, but it is hard to do when you are going through a lot.

I was glad to see you post again.

So lyrical, your post, Barbara. Very Irish-melancholia-like. Me sad too, with husband dead two and a half years.

Your post is a poem, Yeats would like it.
