Linda, is it epi-medral membrane? I had that in my left eye close to the macular. I was scared, but it pulled out on its own, though not all the way. A retina specialist watched me for at least 1 1/2 years if not longer. I hope he does well with the cataract surgery and I hope both of you do well at the Farmer's Market tomorrow, both physically and financially.
I did my exercising walking today. I know I really need to stay at something that helps me with flexibility a little more than walking does.Virginia

Linda, I've heard so many people say that cataract surgery is a piece of cake that I'm believing it--though I'm not signing up for it yet. I'd need somebody to get me there and back at least twice, probably a few more times for followup visits. And I just don't want surgery if I can avoid it at this time in my life. Hope your husband will be in for a great improvement in vision!
One friend who had cataract surgery said she hadn't realized how "beige" the whole world had been looking. After the surgery she was amazed at being able to see colors ever so much better.SPMS diagnosed 1980. Avonex 2001-2004. Copaxone 2006-2009. Glatopa (glatiramer acetate = Copaxone) 12/20 - 3/19/24.

I did or tried to do yoga today. It was really hard. I wish I could stretch out and get back to the point that I could decently do it all the time. I was better off doing that than the exercises that the PT gave me. However, when I was doing yoga on a regular basis I was lighter in weight and I did not have the swelling in legs and feet. The edema makes it harder to work the legs.Virginia

I cannot do tai Chi. But its beautiful to watch. My friends adore it. My friend teaches Tai Chi and extols all of its benefits. If you are physically able to do it, GO FOR ITOriginally posted by agate View PostI've heard good things about tai chi and have seen it done. Has anyone tried it?

Peter took lessons in tai chi for years in Chinatown. One year the teacher asked for his help. They needed guys to be the dragon for the dragon dance and parade for the Chinese New Year. So that year, the dragon head was a 6’4 blue-eyed Irishman!Originally posted by agate View PostI've heard good things about tai chi and have seen it done. Has anyone tried it?

When I had Satellite TV, there was a show called Sunrise Earth. He would film the Sunrise in HD, all over the Earth each day. He did one from China, and there were maybe 100 older people doing Tai Chi in unison. Beautiful to watch."Given the millions of billions of Earth-like planets, life elsewhere in the Universe without a doubt, does exist."
