Jeanie, when Doctors and Insurance and Physical Therapists and Neurologist are all involved, I know it does become overwhelming. I am so thankful you have your two sons there to take some of this and do what they can. However, I do realize that so much of it falls on you.

Sorry you are having a MS day. I hope it lets up soon. You have been doing so well.

I forgot to mention that I washed two loads of linens yesterday on my birthday and put clean linens on my bed.

Today I washed one load of clothes, dusted downstairs and upstairs, did sits to stands and squats. I need to work in some more exercise, but I haven't had time since I started back trying to get a little exercise in each day.

        Good work everyone!

Jeanie. I am sorry you are having a bad day and for the insurance problems. I think you have accomplished so much. I hope tomorrow is better.

Virginia, great work! I’m glad you are feeling up to all of that.

Yesterday I swam 22 minutes 800 yards. Today is IVIG all day long at hospital and sister is in town. Will check in when possible to catch up...on everyone...

I want credit for double airport walking and finishing packing in the heat.

              Back wants to be flat.

Ann, credit definitely noted and given. Guess you are at your Mom's.

I want credit for meeting my fam. to eat this evening when the temperature was 98 and the heat index 105. By the time I left home about 4:30 this afternoon shade had hit the car and I left the door open and started the car with A/C full blast. After eating I went to grocery store and got a few things. It only took two trips to get everything inside. After groceries were put away I took trash out.

I want some credit too. Yesterday it was pushing 90' here though this apartment was still cool without any AC, thanks to its shady location, and I felt I had to vacuum out a closet.

I vacuum the place regularly but all of the stuff in the closets has sat there for nearly 10 years without ever being moved. After reading up on moth prevention I was inspired to tackle the closet where clothes hang. I removed everything from the floor, including a commode, a laundry bin, a large plastic bin full of yarn, a metal bin full of plant pots, a large carton full of potting soil, AND a gigantic trunk that is too heavy to lift. I always kick it along when I have to move it but it does have a couple of handles on it too. It's filled with extra bedspreads and blankets and other things I rarely use. For years I used it for off-season storage of clothes but gave up on that idea a few years back.

I ran the vacuum over the closet floor and felt so virtuous after doing that that and putting everything back, I didn't do much else for the rest of the day.

By the end of the day I found I'd taken only a couple of hundred steps, and so I walked around the building until I made it up to 1,000.

By evening I was very grateful for that air conditioning when it came on.

Sam, if you obey that command, maybe Howie will give you some more of that meat he promised yesterday.

--Yes, I know you didn't sign on there as a dog. But you can play along just this once.

Could Sam be persuaded to hand out (paw out?) badges or maybe trophies?

She would probably give away my drag racing trophies!

Howie, in my 18 years around here I don't recall ever hearing about your drag racing trophies. I must have missed something.

                              Maybe you can provide details?

Today I swam 800 yards in 22 minutes, then grocery store, home, cooked, cleaned up. Beat. ...suffering much lately.
