Ann, I asked my brother for two things for my birthday - home grown tomatoes and corn on the cob. No chocolate or flowers.

As I was sitting here typing my brother and his wife came and brought me tomatoes, corn, and a cantaloupe. Hope everyone eats as well tonight as I plan to.

Edited to add: I did have to fuss with them a little bit. They put a picture of me on FB from Sunday night. The picture was not great, but the worse part of it was that I had on a wide belt with my blouse and it made the blouse pucker up and look like I had a stomach, so I fussed a little bit.

Tomatoes and corn are great but a little chocolate on the side wouldn't hurt. Unless of course you don't like chocolate or it causes problems for you.

No, No Agate you are getting a bit mixed up - that is to take place on Howie's Birthday.

Oh good. Since Howie has had more than one birthday per year in the past, that means more kittens will find homes. Or at least they will turn up on his doorstep in a basket more than once during the year. The basket will have a nice bow on it and a mesh covering over it so that the kittens won't escape.

Such an ideal birthday present that I really think you deserve one like it, too, Virginia.
