Here's what I think I know about Howie:

He used to live under the sea.

Until ... he changed his avatar to spaceships and ETs. That's when I became suspicious and accused him of being an alien. He never outright denied my accusation.

Note his signature: "Evolution spans the Universe."

He takes orders from a cat named, "Sam." If "Sam" is a cat, she likely took that Earthly form to hide her real identity ~ an intergalactic superwoman goddess. "Sam" likely ordered him to change his avatar to cats, Grumpy Cat, specifically, to designate her displeasure with his avatar choices of the past.

More evidence is required, but this is my theory, and I'm sticking to it, until "Howie" (if that even is his name) proves that he is not Mork.

The Grumpy Cat avatar has a really sinister look to it. If that represents what Howie looks like, I'd say he knows far more than he's telling anyone.

Nuthatch is a couple weeks older than I am and I was diagnosed right after my 42nd birthday after 19 years of symptoms.

I don't think Nuthatch has quite gotten to her 67th yet, so that means Cherie has a few weeks to go to get to hers.

I was 60 last October. I was diagnosed 20 years ago July 27. I was almost 40.

We should talk sometime about this custom of women to want to hide their ages. It sort of goes along with lots of customs that encourage women to hide their selfdom , to disguise who they are to stay forever childlike. We see this in hair style obsession especially hair color obsession, makeup to cover the clarity of our features and make a clone of acceptable female appearance and even in the childlike squeaky voices common to hear in adult women.

I think you're right, Linda. We shouldn't be so coy about our ages. Age is just a number.

I'm 68. I was about 35 when diagnosed.

Add Montel Williams to your list of males with MS. Or are you just counting those on this forum? Willysnout and a few others. I don't want to name real names. MSCraig was rediagnosed with a different neuro disease. The beloved Grassman. I "knew" a few on another board as well.
But for whatever reason, Howie is the only one who has stayed around us. Are we too intimidating?
